So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36
What is freedom? What is truth?
All of my life these two concepts appealed to me greatly. I repeatedly attempted to define them, to achieve them, to feel them. I was a slave to perfectionism, futilely and sinfully hoping to make my own glory in the world.
The dead ends appeared endless. Then I learned about the Creator and Savior, His compassion and His TRUE glory, and the longings for pure freedom and truth became reality!
I am Danielle, but most call me Dani. I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and this blog creatively shares the new life I have in Him through deep devotionals, faith-filled fiction, personal tales, and colorful photography.
I’m married to a wonderful man, Isaias Muñoz, who encourages me to live by faith everyday! Read a little about our love story here. We recently welcomed our first baby, a little daughter named Amariah. A Central Californian girl and Cornell University alumna, I also enjoy capturing God’s glory through the camera lens, concocting sweet treats, jumping into other worlds on my Kindle, and serving others as a travel agent! Thinking of vacationing soon? Visit Lighthouse Travels.

Statement of Faith:
I BELIEVE in the one and only, holy God of the Bible. We are all separated from God by our imperfect, sinful nature, and He came upon the Earth as a perfect man, Jesus, to restore a relationship with us by dying the death we deserve and conquering death through his resurrection.
Jesus lived the life we cannot not live, one of unceasing love, wisdom, obedience, selflessness and most importantly, sinlessness. By placing our complete faith in Him as the Savior and obeying His Word we will have eternal unity with God.
God understands us, because He created us. True life and hope is found through Him. And the Bible is our living comprehension of that amazing grace. I seek to dig into its richness on this blog to better know our living Lord.
